TECHNICAL SERVICES ASSISTANT MANAGER
Class II, Step 1 - $10.85/hr
20 hours per week

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in training and supervising Technical Services employees
• Responsible for maintaining equipment inventory
• Assist in supervising Technical Services employees during the setup of events
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager and Production Services Supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Equipment operation and maintenance experience, including sound reinforcement, video, general audio/visual systems and equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience leading and supervising others; previous management preferred
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude while working under pressure and meet deadlines, constantly changing event and clientele.
• Must be well organized.
• Must be enrolled at SFSU with a minimum of 6 units
• Must have a 2.5 GPA to work over 20 hours per week (will verify)
