The Information Desk is located on the Plaza Level of the Cesar Chavez Student Center, which is in the heart of SF State’s campus. We serve as a representative and a communication network for the Student Center, as well as the “first stop” for greeting visitors from all over the world.

We provide both general and detailed information, advice, and guidance regarding the Student Center and its services and events. Our information is not only limited to the Student Center. We always strive to provide answers to any SFSU-related questions, city questions, transit questions, and anything else you can come up with. We also offer a location for purchasing a variety of MUNI and BART passes, organization tabling and key check-in, lost and found, and a friendly place to help you plan your day. The Information Desk also has the ability to communicate in multiple ways with every aspect of the Student Center, bringing all of the opportunities and options of our building directly to the customer.

Mission Statement
The Information Desk is an on-campus site to purchase Muni and Bart transit passes, while offering timely information that engages the student population and acquaints customers with different aspects of our University, whether they are newcomers or veterans to the SFSU.
